Originally from St. Peter and Paul Church in Křečov, a village twenty-five kilometres north of Pilsen, the panel is painted on both sides (an unidentified saint is on the reverse side). Lettering (“ANES”, “OPM”) is featured on the cuffs, but the meaning is unclear. The panels of Saints Catherine and Margaret were probably part of the winged altar.
